You’re the sunshine of my life, like Stevie Wonder sang
You’re a different kind of sunshine
You’re the kind of shine that doesn’t know it
It took a while until I realized it
When it hit me, it hit me hard
You’re the one I think about
I don’t care if you’re taken or not
I wish it was me but I can’t be
You’re the sunshine of my life
You make my life worth living
It doesn’t matter what you do
I still feel the sunshine from you
When I look at you I feel warm inside
It must be the way you smile or maybe it’s just you
You give me thoughts I never thought I had
You bring me joy, you bring me delight
If you were mine I would bring sunshine like you

But every time I think I’m over it, you pull me back in
