Why is it so hard?

Blogging everyday. I never had any real goals before and this blog is one example why. I just get bored easily. The thought I have to post everyday feels difficult. I thought I could do it but it seems I can’t. I tried but things just doesn’t come out. My head is empty. My goal was to post everyday but that’s not me.

You don’t write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say.”
― F. Scott Fitzgerald

I would say it a little differently “I don’t write because I have to, I write because I have something to say” And if I don’t have anything say, why bother posting. I could always write nonsense but who wants to read that. Really.

I’ll go back to the shadows now. I come back when I have something “important” to say.

Talking gibberish

Nothing like this though

WordPress.com asked on Twitter “Who is your Reader?”

I usually write to myself so I could be the ‘Reader’ Well I do read before I post. What I don’t like, is spelling errors. My spelling errors. Not so fussy about others. And especially English errors. That’s why google translator is a good tool to use. Sometimes it might have errors but at least that is better then nothing. As long as people understand what I’m saying. But you could always ask if you don’t.

Another questions was “When you draft a post, do you write with someone specific in mind?” Why so serious? (Yes, I’ve watched The Dark Knight too many times :D) It depends what I’m writing about. If I talk about a movie I think about that. Or an actor. Or whatever. I don’t think about anyone specific.

Since English is not my first language, the use of words are limited. I don’t know any “fancy” words. When reading other blogs, some of the words are not familiar. But that’s really the point, to learn English. Even though I have been able to speak English since 5th grade, I still can’t speak it fluently. I think I’ve only used it in real life about 2-3 times. So writing is my strongest point.

The main question was “Who is your Reader?” Young, old, adults with childish minds, adult with no so childish minds, people with jobs, people with no jobs, interesting people, caring people or anyone who cares (or bothers) to read my blog.

Not so gibberish now, is it?!

Weekly Writing Challenge: 1,000 Words (part 2)

Emptiness
Emptiness

Since I have nothing else to write about, this is my 2nd weekly writing challenge. This is how it feels like when trying to write something. Emptiness. There are days I don’t feel like doing anything. Just sit in front of the lap top or computer and look at videos on Youtube. Or just passing time surfing without a purpose. Mind is full with emptiness. No light in the end of tunnel when it comes to doing things. More important things. Whatever that is.

Even though I got a few things in my drafts, I don’t feel like writing them. This blog is as boring as my life is. Even in my mind, things are boring. I’m not one of those people that go around telling strangers that I just took a shower or went to the store. Like some people on Twitter or Facebook do. Why some people have the urge to tell things like that, is beyond me. Hello, some privacy thank you.

The only cure to emptiness I can think of is, Entertainment (like Sherlock. So obsessed with that TV show right now) Maybe there is a light in the end of the tunnel after all.
