This forest is quiet

Forest in Eurajoki, Finland, 2016

I hadn’t realised I hadn’t written this blog in July at all. I have been busy. This forest has been quiet lately. The blog forest that is. My dad decided to quit his business altogether, and I helped him to tidy up the business premises. It’s been a lot of work and dirty. He was a goldsmith. He had the business for over 30 years, so there was a lot of stuff. We have someone to help to clean up the place.

This post is a reminder that I still blog. It has only been quiet lately. The month has gone so fast. This month, weather-wise, hasn’t been too hot over here. I’m glad I don’t live where the forest fires are right now. It’s just terrible over there. It is better to be outside than inside here, so I sit on the balcony or go out in the park. I have a puncture on both bikes, so I haven’t been able to go on bike trips. I haven’t had the time to go and fix them yet. I hope I have the time next week. I have quite missed the cycling thing. It’s good exercise, and you see the scenery much better than from a car.

The filmmaking course is over soon. We have two more meetings in Helsinki in August, and I have another diploma in my hand. It might not mean much, but I’ve studied something I’m interested in, and that is what counts. I wouldn’t get to be taught by professional moviemakers anywhere else. I also got to experience how things work in a TV and movie studio. Or how actors do things in a scene. I already knew about some things, but a repeat is not bad. I also got to meet new people and got to work in a team. Filmmaking is a lot about that. We had a lot of fun too.

This forest of this blog post is quiet again. Thank you for stopping by.

Thanks for standing by

Thanks for standing by. It’s been a month again since I blogged last. I’ve been busy with the filmmaking course with assignments. When I have time, I never seem to have the time to do anything anyway. I sleep late, or I watch sports on TV. Or if I need to help my dad with something. If I don’t have anything to write, then I don’t. Thanks for staying. No matter what the reason is to be following this blog, thanks for doing so.

Looking at my blog stats and posts I’ve made in this blog, November seems to be a quiet month for me. At least in the 2020s. I don’t know what it is. People find this blog anyway, even if I haven’t written in a while. So thanks for that. I won’t bore you with that stats things.

I won’t say thanks to the job search world. You send an open application, but you still won’t get anything. No one seems to look for new employers. I’m supposed to send one job application each month. I can’t find anything, so it seems forced. The job suggestions I get are all wrong. I don’t know if I have the strength to both study and be at work. I have never done it, even if I have studied full-time. If I had my own business, I could work when I wanted, and I didn’t need to ask permission when I had to go to school. When you’re unemployed, you need to search for work at the same time. It’s challenging to find a job that lets you study at the same time. I just have to send open applications even if they don’t work. At least I’ve looked for work. That’s better than not doing it. I can at least concentrate on the school assignments in peace.

Thanks if you got this far; reading this. You can relax now. This is the end of this post.

When all is said

I haven’t blogged in a long time. To make it short. Life has come in the way. I’m washed out. I also have nothing to write about. It feels like all has been said. Not many care about the things I write about. Maybe someone. A lot of the followers probably don’t read. Only follow. It just feels there is no point using my energy to blogging. I rather do something else instead. Which I have.

There has been ice hockey on TV. Then doing the assignment for the UX/UI design course. Then driving lessons. I won’t get the drivers license for my birthday (June 2), so that plan failed. But it’s better to learn to drive before going to the test. It’s getting better. The driving, that is. My dad got his first corona vaccine this week, so I went with him. I’ll get mine this Sunday. I hate needles, though. Things also went bad. Both of my bikes have something wrong with the back tire, so I can’t use either of them. The other bike is my mum’s and I just had it fixed, but now there is something wrong with it. Maybe it’s the vent or something. I walked all winter, so I might just continue with that.

I probably forgot to mention something, but I’m watching World Championships in ice hockey where Finland is playing against Italy. So have a good day and carry on.
