Day 20. Now a prompt I’m familiar with. I have taken photos for over 25 years or so. It isn’t easy to know what my favourite photo is. But this one could be it. I never seem to catch moving subjects. They get blurry. But I manage to get this one. It’s from a dance show on a cruising ship. I took many photos from the show, but this one was the one I managed to ‘catch’. It’s breakdance which goes really fast. It’s taken with Canon EOS D40. Even if I have studied photography, I still don’t get the exposure, apertures, etc. I tried a lot, but still, I find it challenging to photograph moving things. I prefer to take nature and architecture photos.
Music has always been part of my life since I was a child. I’m one of those kids who lived they’re childhood in the 80’s. The fashion wasn’t the best but the music was awesome and still is. When I hear what they’re playing on the radio these days, I’m glad I’m not a teen. I’m not even interesting in new bands anymore. I use to follow the music scene but then other interest came a long. A lot of bands and artists who existed in the 80’s and 90’s are still around. Like Duran Duran who released Paper Gods last year and they’re also still touring. I wish they could get their butts over here as well. They’re one of the rarest bands that still make great music.
Without music life would be dull. My taste is wide. I listen to almost all kinds of music. Real music and…
I listen to all kinds of music and dance is one of them. I like listening to them but not so much dancing. The ’90s was a Euro-disco period so a lot of those are from that period. The list below is my 10 favourite dance songs to listen to. And dance, if you like. These are not in order so number one doesn’t mean it’s my top favourite and so on. I have no special reason why they are my favourite. They just sound good and most of the lyrics I know by heart. Let’s dance (or listen)
