It’s sumptuous to be a Finn when your team win
A lot of people thought Finland won’t succeed in 2019 Ice Hockey World Championships because we didn’t have NHL players. But our team showed those doubters they were all wrong. This not so famous team wins all these big ice hockey countries, Sweden, Russia and Canada. Winning a championship is such a sumptuous thing and I still can’t believe Finland is a champion. I watched all the Finnish games and there were both disappointments and joy. The team proved the whole world you don’t need to have millions to win. Finland’s ice hockey team is a team with a big T.
Ice hockey is such a big thing in Finland. It’s our 3rd championships. You could say the whole country goes crazy. In some cities they do. Some go overboard though but they can blame themselves if they get hurt. Personally, I’m just happy and then I move on. At this moment they show the celebrations in Helsinki on TV. I’m so proud of those guys. They didn’t give up and they really deserve this win. No one will ever take this away from them. This is a great day to be a Finn. Until the next ice hockey championship.

The forecast is white
Finland is white everywhere. The forecast will remain so for a long time. Snow is great. More the better. Of course, it’s bad for the traffic. But now we have a decent winter for once. There will be more snow coming. There are big piles of snow everywhere because it’s not melting in between. This is much better because it’s lighter outside. Unfortunately, some young people don’t seem to know it’s winter because their wear ripped jeans and sneakers with short socks. Then they complain it’s cold. Well, serves you right for not dressing right. I wonder what kind of parents they have. I wouldn’t let my kid go outside like that. Nothing beats walking in deep snow. They’re missing all the fun. If you don’t wear warm clothes in the winter, you will get a lot of health issues when you get older. There are a lot of nice looking winter clothes so why don’t they buy those. If you don’t dress decently, you shouldn’t complain about the cold. That’s my two cents of the matter. I’m gonna enjoy the snow as long as I can. I dress in layers so I won’t feel that cold that some people do.
