I went to see Into the storm the other day. People compare that with the Twister movie but I’ve never seen it so I can’t compare. I liked this one. Especially when Richard Armitage is in it. I could listen to him talk for hours. That’s eargasm all over.
Some scenes were a bit silly. Looked like human flags holding on to something. In real life they probably would blow away. The movie was exciting enough for my taste. It got me thinking, what if real tornado’s would be like that. I doubt they would appear that many times in a row. It seemed in the movie that when one is over, another one is coming right behind. But how would I know since I’ve never experienced one.
Walking out of the theater when the movie was over and back to the real world, I felt relief. I’m glad I live in a country where there’s no earthquakes or tornado’s. There’s been small one’s here but that’s nothing compared to another countries.
There’s actually people who chase tornado’s and storms. They must be really brave or they have a death wish. Some have too. Which makes you wonder, is it really worth it? Even by just looking is scary enough.
A tornando could wipe all man kind of this earth. That’s more likely than robots taking over the world. If people keep distroying the planet, it might happened one day.
I always wanted to answer these questions. Mostly famous from Inside the Actor’s Studio with James Lipton. Feel free to answer them too.
The Pivot Questionnaire
What is your favorite word?
Love. If there were more love in the world, this place would be better than it is right now.
What is your least favorite word?
The Finnish word, periaatteessa (trans. in principle) I don’t really know what it means. E.g. in principle you could get paid. So is it or is it not. I like straight answers and not in principle 😛
What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Kindness. Respect others no matter where they’re from, the color of their skin or their sexuality. You don’t have to like everyone but kindness never gets old.
What turns you off?
Smoking. Even worse if the guy is good-looking. Also drunk people. People that have no respect for nature, animals and other people. Violence in general.
What is your favorite curse word?
Perkele or jumalauta. Finnish swear words. Swearing should only be allowed if you’re really angry. Using foul language in a daily basis is not acceptable.
What sound or noise do you love?
Male voices like Lee Pace, Benedict Cumberbatch and Richard Armitage. Is it getting hot in here? 😀
What sound or noise do you hate?
That awful continuous noise young people play in their cars while driving. You hear them miles away. Also drilling noises is the worse.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
I don’t have a profession but interviewing racing drivers would be an interesting job.
What profession would you not like to do?
Anything with needles and blood. Doctor, nurse etc.
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
You could have done it better.
This is a great opportunity to thank everyone who has been reading this blog and thanks for following. Without Zero to Hero Challenge, this could not have been possible. It really inspired me to continue with blogging. I’m sure everyone that has joined this challenge, feels the same.
What I’ve learned from this challenge, is how to use Reader. Before I didn’t even think how useful that was. I usually learn things by finding out myself. Most things done in the challenge were already familiar to me. But I also got a few tips, like layouts and stuff like that.
Even though this blog is not about my personal life, people are still interested to read it. I think the world would be a better place, if people would just enjoy what they have. Life shouldn’t be all serious. I haven’t had an easy life so far but it won’t let it get to me. I just want people light up and forget their problems for a while. That’s what I want from this blog. An excape from reality. And hopefully someone wants the same.
Speaking of an excape from reality. I could watch this scene over and over again. Try to figure out why.
