Day 21

Snow shouldn’t come before the festivities, but here in Southern Finland, this Christmas is not lucky. We had snow last night, but it won’t last long because the forecast says it will rain tomorrow. I guess we should enjoy it while it lasts. I will never understand people who live in Finland and don’t like snow. I love it. If you can’t stand the snow, get out of the country. Or you might just live with it and stop complaining. Not that there is anything wrong with it. It’s time for festivities and not time to be disappointed. Weather isn’t something you can turn off and on again. You get what you get, and you live with it.

Fox on the run

Fox running

I’ve seen a fox in my neighbourhood a lot of times. It’s usually been at night. Once a fox walked past me on the street. Last year I saw a fox at least 8 times. I’ve never managed to take photos of one. I’ve seen a fox so many times I’ve lost count. It’s not easy to take pictures of wild animals because they move so fast.

I went to the cemetery, and I saw this fox. It’s far away, but I didn’t get closer, or it would have run away. I’ve seen one only once before in day time. They usually move at night. The first time I saw a fox was when we were driving home from Northern Finland, and I saw a glimpse of it from the car window.
