Took a little holiday with dad to Tallinn, Estonia before going back to work next week. Came back yesterday. It was the first time I’ve been there in the summer. We had sunny and warm weather. Tallinn is a very beautiful city.

I purchased a small Estonian flag after I spent half a day in Tallinn back in 2005. Wish it could have been longer as it was a nice place to visit.

Summer is the best time but being there in winter time is an experience of its own.

I was there June 2005, shortly before Helsinki’s Festival of the Midnight Sun. I was in Helsinki for almost a week and a half for a conference. Originally our group planned a half-day trip to Stockholm, but our Executive Director said everyone goes to Stockholm and decided at the last minute for the trip to Tallinn. Got to see the castle and walked around the area between the port and the castle.
