blacklistlogo When I saw this I came to think about The Blacklist. I’m totally addicted to this show. Last time I was this excited was ’24’ and even that addiction is nothing compared to The Blacklist. I just can’t get enough of it. I’ve watched it online. Got season 1 DVD today so I can watch it with subtitles. Who knows when season 2 is shown in Finland. I think it’s best thing since sliced bread. When I saw the pilot, things have never been the same again.
What I like about this show is that when you think you’ve figured something out, it just raises more questions. You really can’t wait for the next episode. James Spader as Reddington is awesome. His character reminds me of the character he played in Boston Legal. The same kind of manipulator except as a criminal. He makes Reddington a bad guy that you just can’t hate. He’s funny too. Those one liners are great.

Some people are taking this show too seriously. It’s not realistic and blah, blah. Then they complain about Megan Boone’s acting skills. Getting so boring. Have a read yourself. People just don’t get it’s made up. It’s not suppose to be for real. If they want real, maybe they should watch documentaries instead.
It’s funny how bad some want Tom dead. Ryan Eggold is really doing a great job if his character creates that strong reactions. Personally I think Tom’s story just keeps the show interesting. Even better when he turns out to be something else. He was too soft before. This Red/Liz affair would kill the expense. It would be almost be like a boring marriage where there’s nothing new to look forward to. Then there comes a character like Tom, you want to chain him under the deck of a ship and never let go.I don’t know what it is but I actually don’t want Tom to die.
Maybe it’s because of Ryan or because of Tom. But I just want him to stay on the show as long as possible. That’s one of the reasons I watch it.

I really hope they won’t have any romances between Liz/Ressler or Red/Liz. There’s too many of those shows already. Why can’t men and woman just be friends? Because they really can. Not everything has to involve around intimate relationships. The Blacklist is drama and not a romance novel.

I do not fancy Tom Keen. I do not fancy Tom Keen.

That’s what I keep telling myself. It is unheard of to fancy a TV character that you should hate. If you haven’t seen ‘The Blacklist’, you really should. If you did, you would understand what I’m writing about.
But a small recap. Tom Keen is the husband of Elizabeth Keen, who is a FBI profiler. It turns out that their marriage have all been a lie. Tom is not the dream husband she thought he was. To make the story short, after a long time it turns out that he really is a killer that has been paid to kill Liz. At first at least. I don’t know what motives he has now. Those writers really know how to confuse a viewer.

It’s a bit cliché that someone who has been paid to do something actually fall in love with the victim. They kept dragging this, is he or is he not? But from the start I knew he wasn’t innocent. The most disturbing thing is, Liz actually wanted a family with this man. Never felt so uneasy with a character before. I just wanted to slap her for not seeing the real him. She was a profiler so she should notice those things. I guess love is blind. When she finally realises, I could empathise her disgust towards him. She had to act like normal so he wouldn’t find out she knew the truth. When he wanted them to renew their vows, you could really see Liz reaction. She really wanted to spill out the beans. And hurt him. There were also other disturbing things in this relationship but I won’t get into them.

I don’t know what it is with bad guys in movies or television. Especially if the actor is hot. Like in this case. Is Tom Keen hot or is it because Ryan Eggold is? I dislike the character but at the same time I want to make passionate love to him. In real life I would never get interested people who have taken someone elses life.
I don’t understand why some people think Ryan is a bad actor. They obviously haven’t seen him in Sons of Liberty and The Blacklist. If he can play a character that people hate at first, he can’t be that bad.

I really hope the writers won’t get Tom and Liz back together. He already killed at least 4 people so how can someone take him back after all that. A criminal that doesn’t go to jail. It’s wrong and so unrealistic. It doesn’t matter how much he loves her. What done is done. I rather see him in jail or dead than go back to ‘normal’ life.

Stop Killing Dolphins in Taiji

Let’s get serious. I loved dolphins since I was a child. It hurts me too see them being killed in Taiji, Japan. I follow the Sea Shepherd Cove Guardians on Facebook. They keep us updated everyday about what these killers are doing. What’s even worse, they can’t do anything but watch them kill innocent dolphins. At this rate all dolphins will all become extinct. The hunting season ends in March. The reason they kill these animals are greed and selfishness. They done the killing for centuries and they will keep doing so as long as nobody interferes.

They’re not only killing them but they also take them captive and dump the juveniles back to the sea where they probably will be eaten by other animals. The killers choose which one’s to sell to marine parks, zoo’s and “swimming with the dolphins”programs. Rest they brutally slaughter and sell their meat to restaurants. If the dolphins are injured, they dump them back to the killing cove. This senseless killing goes on everyday. They have the dolphins captive for days without food. They split the families in two and make them suffer. These killers have no heart whatsoever. All they care about is killing innocent dolphins so they can live a fulfilled life.

Dolphins are close to humans. They’re smart and family orientated. They belong to the ocean and not for human entertainment. As long as people go to marine parks and such, the killing will continue. A lot of people doesn’t know the truth behind the way how these dolphins end up in these places.

I usually don’t wish bad luck to people but when it comes to Taiji killers, I hope God will punish them with something horrible. Like a hurricane or tsunami. No animal deserve to be terrorized by humans. This animal cruelty must stop. And before anyone says, “it’s always been like that” That is no excuse. There are ways to change things. We should not settle with “it’s always been like that” It’s like giving up hope. If there’s a will, there’s a way.
