No change here but this

I didn’t realize it’s been a month since I wrote a blog post. How time flies. No change here, but I have had other things to do. So much to watch on TV and online, so blogging hasn’t been on my mind lately. First of all, I have been watching ’24’ on Disney plus. It only cost 1.99 euros (2,24 dollars) for a month. It’s over soon, but I didn’t know they’ve had so many other TV shows to watch, so I think I won’t be cancelling it. They have many old shows like ‘The Golden girls’, ‘Bones’ and ‘The Muppets show’. Then there are new ones, like ‘Loki’ (I already watched that) and ‘WandaVision’. The problem with the channel is that it buffers a lot on the laptop, even if I have a fast connection. I don’t think I want to pay for something that gives me problems. I have the app, too, but the screen is too small to watch for a longer time. I prefer a bigger screen. I usually wouldn’t pay for a channel because most of them only have one or two contents that interest me. It’s the reason why Netflix has never interested me.

What comes to other things, there is no change. If there was something, I probably already forgot about it, or it’s not worth mentioning. Until next time.

Break the silence or put on the brake

Maybe it’s the hot summer or because I don’t get many likes with newer posts, but blogging isn’t the way it used to be. I don’t know if if I should break the silence or put on the brake with the whole thing. There are days I think I might write something, but other times I think why I should bother. It isn’t only blogging but writing in general. It feels like all that writing work are a waste of energy when it doesn’t get many likes. I don’t only write for myself. I also want others to read them. I wouldn’t put them online if I didn’t. It goes with blogging and posting fiction, also with social media. Sharing is caring, after all. I could just write things down on paper or private blog. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t post things only to get likes. Internet is a big place, and you never know if anyone actually reads or looks at what you post. They might only click on like by mistake.

I haven’t found a cure for cancer or any other great achievement, but I wish my posts would have more likes after nine years. At least older posts get likes from time to time. Sometimes it feels I’m only starting with blogging. I didn’t expect my blog would attract the same kind of attention as some other blogs do. My life is boring, so I have nothing existing to share. Getting likes or not is not the issue. I don’t know what to write in this blog anymore. Maybe I just need to put on the brake and have a break from blogging a while. Summer is a time when people are outside, so they don’t have time to read blogs. Especially when it’s hot, I’m too tired to think about anything important. When the hot weather stops, I might continue blogging. But you never know, I might still do it. I never know when inspiration strikes.

Getting off the blogging break

I haven’t been writing this blog in a month. How fast time goes. There are several reasons. Summer heat (which I hate) Then driving school. The UX/UI design course. And frankly, I’ve been too tired to think about writing anything. It’s been too hot inside, so I’ve been outside where there is wind. I wish this heatwave would be over, but it’s getting hotter at the weekend. Maybe it will cool down next week. I don’t mind warmth, but when it’s over 25 celsius, it’s hell. At least it’s not about 50 like it is in Canada. I would feel like dying if it was like that over here. I wish I could hibernate until the heatwave is over. I wish you could control the weather. I just have to pull through. It can’t last forever. Days like this, I miss being cold.

I wouldn’t say I’m off from the blogging break. It’s only this post, but the next time can be any day. In other news. I will finally be doing the driving test on July 15. I will have a driving lesson before that on the same day. I hope I will pass on the first try. I’ve been watching videos and stuff. The driving lessons are pretty expensive, so I hope I don’t need to do them again. I started in February, so it would nice to finish driving school soon.
