Take a trip to my new blog theme

I changed the theme of this blog yesterday. It’s called Nucleare. It was time to change it a little. Take a trip to In my world front page and take a peak if you like. I like that you can use the font you want. I use Cabin and Raleway. It’s also my brand typography.

I have been looking for a new theme for a while, but I haven’t found the right one until now. I wanted a similar theme that I had before. I wanted to keep the same widgets. There are themes where you can edit the layout with the site editor, but I find that difficult. I prefer the easier way out.

Going through the WordPress themes is a trip because there are so many. I use the free ones. They are as good as the paid and premium ones. I have a Personal WP plan for this blog, so it’s good enough for me. I’m going to keep this theme for a while. I quite like it. Please do have a trip to my new blog theme. If you haven’t already, while reading this blog post.

Placid about my blog stats

I don’t know if stats are vital, but I’m placid about my blog stats. The recent posts don’t get many views. It’s gone downhill, as you can see in the image below.

blog stats

I won’t stop writing the blog because of this. It can feel disappointing for a few moments, but the feeling passes. Sometimes people don’t have time or interest to read blogs. I won’t start to think what the reason might be. Stats aren’t everything, no matter what people say. Stats isn’t a rule; it’s more of a guideline. Maybe there would be more traffic if my blog was about something else. But since it’s not, it’s obvious it won’t get as much as some other blogs with more “interesting” subjects.

This is my 10th year of blogging. It has taken time to get this far. Blogging is like life; you have some ups and downs. You get one like, or you get 30. People are interested in what you have to say. You don’t have to compare yourself to other bloggers. If you don’t write for others, then write for yourself. That’s how I think when I write something. It doesn’t matter how many followers you have because no one knows how many are genuine. Followers don’t mean visitors or views. I’m not even sure how many truly like a blog post. Is it the blog post banner they like or the text? These are complicated things. I’m placid about my blog stats. I enjoy writing, and I will continue to do so. I need to get my thoughts down somehow, and I might just share them with others. Blogging is sharing, after all.

Thanks for standing by

Thanks for standing by. It’s been a month again since I blogged last. I’ve been busy with the filmmaking course with assignments. When I have time, I never seem to have the time to do anything anyway. I sleep late, or I watch sports on TV. Or if I need to help my dad with something. If I don’t have anything to write, then I don’t. Thanks for staying. No matter what the reason is to be following this blog, thanks for doing so.

Looking at my blog stats and posts I’ve made in this blog, November seems to be a quiet month for me. At least in the 2020s. I don’t know what it is. People find this blog anyway, even if I haven’t written in a while. So thanks for that. I won’t bore you with that stats things.

I won’t say thanks to the job search world. You send an open application, but you still won’t get anything. No one seems to look for new employers. I’m supposed to send one job application each month. I can’t find anything, so it seems forced. The job suggestions I get are all wrong. I don’t know if I have the strength to both study and be at work. I have never done it, even if I have studied full-time. If I had my own business, I could work when I wanted, and I didn’t need to ask permission when I had to go to school. When you’re unemployed, you need to search for work at the same time. It’s challenging to find a job that lets you study at the same time. I just have to send open applications even if they don’t work. At least I’ve looked for work. That’s better than not doing it. I can at least concentrate on the school assignments in peace.

Thanks if you got this far; reading this. You can relax now. This is the end of this post.
