Longing for freedom

Have you ever wished you could just get away? Not from this life, from the life you’re living. Do you wish you could just go somewhere to collect your thoughts? Just for a moment.

Everyone feels stressed once in a while. If it’s your work, your friends or family giving you a hard time. You wish you could just go somewhere. Maybe travel to another country. As long as it’s somewhere else.

Or you could just go out to the nearest beach or maybe you live near the ocean. Or even go to a park. It doesn’t have to cost a thing. Try to a find a place where there’s not many people around or none. If you don’t have a place like that. Why not just sit down on a chair at home and close your eyes. Imagine you’re sitting on a cliff, looking out to the sea. You’re all alone and no one interrupts your thoughts. The weather can be whatever you want it to be. A warm breeze or no wind at all. It can be hot or cold, whatever you prefer. Just drift away for a while.

It can also be somewhere in nature. Maybe there’s a place where you used to spend your time when you were a child. Imagine the birds singing. The smell of trees. The smell of fresh air. Think about those summer days when you were a child. Time of innocence.

We all need an escape from reality. Take a look inside your mind. It does wonders to your brain. Contemplation is not that difficult. Just lay back and relax a bit. Life is not that serious.

Followers or friends?

I have a “few” followers on Twitter and Facebook (on my blogs as well but that’s another matter) Most of them I “met” from F1 forums for females. But are they just followers or are they friends?! I’ve never met any of them so I don’t know them personally. I don’t talk to them either. And they don’t confide in me. So they must be followers only.

What is friendship anyway?! I know what they are like and know what they do. But can I call them friends?! The only thing I have in common with them is Formula One. I could call them fellow fans. But then again I know things about them. If they were only fellow fans, I wouldn’t know much about them. They would just be random people. But since I don’t have friends that I talk to, face to face, I would call them friends.

The best thing about internet is that you can meet people from another country without having to go anywhere. Especially when you can’t afford it. And it’s much easier to find people on the internet when you don’t have to open your mouth. Since my social skills are not that great, internet is a good tool for people like me.

The question still is, are they followers or friends?! Lot of people “brag” about how many followers they’ve got. But I don’t care about “collecting” followers. I want to find friends that I have things in common with. It’s about quality not quantity.

So my answer to my question is, they are friends since I know something about them and their life. Those I know don’t know much about, they are followers.

This is an super-awesome post

Boring more like it. Don’t know about this blog thing. I don’t know how people writing blogs can keep up writing them. I’ve tried many times. I can do Tumblr and photo blogging maybe. But not writing. I never know what to write. I’ve got lot to say but I keep loosing the point. I can do fiction but not when it comes to other kind of writing.

This for example. I keep writing what come to my head but will it make any sense. I don’t think so. It doesn’t really matter either. Who reads this anyway. No one really have time to read anything I write on Facebook or Twitter either. But I stopped caring. People are just too busy doing their own things. It’s just me having a boring life. I have nothing exciting to tell. I don’t even have a job to brag about. Even if I did, that wouldn’t be interesting enough.

Speaking of jobs. I’ve studied lots of different things but to study doesn’t mean anything in the end. You can have all the exams in the world but still don’t have a job. You either have to have good connections (like family or relatives) or be a student. For example; I want to be a pro photographer but since I don’t have the needed degree, my chances to even get an internship are thin. And I don’t even have a driver’s license. Follow your dreams they say. Why bother when there’s always something in the way. My dream was to be a photographer in F1 but that will never come true. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.

That’s the last time I write about personal things. From now on, less serious stuff.
