This is not an error, it’s my life

First some bad news. I wrote about this education and now I know the result.

I applied to employment training in digital marketing and e-commerce just to have a plan and because I’m interested in it. It’s a long way to that and I don’t even know if I get in the course.

I didn’t even get an interview so that was a waste of time. I could have started something but now I’m a bit down. I guess when I apply to an education where you need to explain why you want to be in the education I don’t get a chance. Not always but most of the time. I don’t know why it took so long for them to decide. I applied in June and I don’t even get to the interview. That really makes a person feel unwanted. I could have done something else besides waiting. Deep inside I knew I wouldn’t get in. It was a far-fetched anyway. I could get that knowledge elsewhere. I’ve already tried to study digital marketing on Google but I didn’t pass the test. In the education I applied to was an internship involved which is probably the only reason I applied. Now I don’t get that either.

I don’t why I bother doing anything. My plans all fail anyway. It’s really difficult to keep the motivation going when you feel you’re not succeeding. Never give up they say but how can you be positive when life kicks you in the exhaust. Over and over again. You get an error not once but several times. You feel everyone else does things much better than you. You don’t get over that feeling no matter how people try to put positive thoughts in your head. Many times you see how people have succeeded even if they’ve failed. But I don’t think I feel that lucky. I’m probably had so many drawbacks I’m too afraid to start anything. Maybe if I was in my 20’s I could have better chances but you can’t go back in time. I don’t mean it’s too late but now it’s much harder. Some things just make it too impossible. Some people look at other people on social media and feel depressed about how they look. I look at people’s skills and I feel depressed how bad my skills are. Maybe not bad but I’m insecure about them. I don’t think I get any better no matter how much I practice.

Looking on the bright side. My life is not an error. In some things, I feel secure. Like in writing. I’m good at that and I feel confident in it. I don’t get paid for it but still, it gives me satisfaction. If I did get paid for it, it probably would feel forced. Having it as a hobby, I don’t get stressed and I can write about things I want to read. If I didn’t have anything my life would be much more boring. A person needs to have at least one hobby to escape reality for a while. After that, it’s much easier to cope with life.

Repost: Why do you have to go and make things so complicated?

Repost because why not use simplicity for a change.

pen on whiteIn web and graphic design there is a rule called, K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid or silly) Why must life be so complicated when you can simplify it? Why can’t life be like in design? You shouldn’t need to have so many details. But when you deal with people simply isn’t always an option. We’re one of the most complicated creatures ever lived. It shouldn’t be that way. But what can you do? Some people just make things more difficult than it has to be.

What is common sense to one person, can be something else for another. For example, when I was a child people obeyed house rules. When the clock struck 10 pm, you weren’t allowed to play music out loud or make loud noises. But now it seems people don’t care what time it is. They have loud parties half the night and they don’t care who they disturb. How complicated is it to take others into consideration? Very difficult it seems. We live in a me-me-me society. As long as they have it good, no one else matters. You would think the world is full of idiots. Young people especially. They think they can do what they like without consequences. Fortunately, not everyone is like that. Some do have manners. It’s only that small group that hasn’t. I wonder how they will survive in adulthood if they can’t even behave now.

Any relationships are made complicated because people don’t talk to each other. They only assume what others are thinking. They mostly think about not hurting someone’s feelings. Honesty is much better than lying but you can be discreet about it. There are things you should keep to yourself. You don’t need to comment on everything you see. The limit between positive criticising and hurting someone can be difficult because some get more easily hurt than others. If you’re a sympathetic person, you know when to stifle it. You can put yourself in their place. If it only were that simple to others then there would probably less bullying or sexual harassment in the world. It really depends on how your upbringing was. Your attitude comes from home. It’s the parent’s job to teach their children how to have respect for others. You can’t expect the teacher to teach them everything.

How simple life would be if you only needed to say, no don’t it or go ahead? No one would fight against it and everyone would be nice to each other. People would obey and accept the way things are. But it’s those emotions and feelings that spoils it all. Humans have complicated minds and nothing is simplified to us. Not everything needs to be so complicated though. Being nice to others should be easy. You don’t need to like a person but at least don’t be an idiot. A simple smile can save anyone’s day. Accepting differences is simple but there’s always someone resisting it. It’s really their problem. You shouldn’t let those ungrateful people spoil your life. Life should be as simplified as possible.

Agitate me and you will feel it in your bones

I might be a calm person who never raises their voices but some things just agitate me and I have to let it out. If you don’t want to see me upset, don’t irritate me because then you will feel it in your bones. But only if you really know me. I don’t go around strangers and scream at them. I’m too shy for that. I can keep the irritation inside me. But at home, I can let it out. Keeping your feelings inside is never good. That’s something my dad don’t understand. When I was younger I had these rage fits. It wasn’t because I had some mental problems. I just couldn’t stand certain things. One that really agitated me was that I wasn’t allowed to show my feelings. I still don’t. My dad always seems so calm and things don’t bother him. But I can’t live like that. He always thinks I shouldn’t bother what others do. I don’t but why can’t I have an opinion about it. Maybe my dad accepts what happens in this world but I don’t. If you accept everything then you’re part of the problem.

There’s is so many agitating things and people in this world. It seems people care more about themselves than others. One of these people is neighbours. They talk too loud and have parties too loud. The most important things for them is themselves. They don’t care some people need to get up early. Especially if it’s a weekday. You can have your parties as long as you don’t disturb others. It doesn’t need to be a party. It can be moving things in your flat or banging a nail to the wall at night. What kind of idiot do that during the night anyway? But idiots are anywhere and it will never change. People’s attitude towards others has become worse. It’s a me-me world. The worse part is that even young kids behave like they’ve never had parents. It seems they don’t teach manners in school either. They litter and don’t care who gets hurt. Kids are worried about climate change and yet they don’t do anything about it. Practice what you preach. Adults should be a good example for kids and not the other way around. Now it seems some parents give in to their kids too easily. No wonder there is an idiot raised every minute. Kids are just innocent by-standards and they don’t even know it. Fortunately, there are decent parents too. At least there is some hope.

Being agitated doesn’t always been anger. Writing this blog can be agitating sometimes. Since I write in English some words to describe something is hard to find online. I know them in my own language. Sometimes not even that. I use Google but as you probably know, it’s mostly wrong. I usually get agitated so I skip the whole sentence and write it in some other way. Or don’t bother at all. Writing anything if it’s a blog post or fiction is not easy. Especially when you should tell about yourself in a cover letter and even an About me-page. It’s like pulling teeth. It can’t just be, “well, I am me and there you have it” and get on with it. It’s so much more and honestly, I don’t want to bother with it. It makes me agitated and I rather concentrate on something less stressful.
