Feeling The Hobbit Blues

Here I am taking part in Daily Prompt for a change. Where is the weekly writing challenge? I feel quite blue. But not because of the challenge. Can I stop you for a second? Why haven’t I got any likes in a while? Maybe you’re just not interested in The Hobbit movies. Well, too bad. I just love them and now I have The Hobbit blues. It was the last movie and already want to see it again. Maybe I see the movie in a different light this time. That’s what I like about this movie or movies in general. You always find something new. To tell you the thruth, I just want to see Thranduil. Gosh, shame on me. It’s just a character for Pete’s sake. OK, not obsessed but still. Maybe it’s because it’s Lee Pace for God’s sake. He’s awesome in so many ways. I won’t go into detail.

So I got 10 minutes but I think it could become longer. My brain is still at the movies. I just don’t want to go back. But I have school tomorrow. Excited but I got The Hobbit blues. I will manage to get back to real life. Tomorrow it’s probably raining. Like it did today. When is 10 minutes up. I’m getting sore in my fingers. I have no idea what to write any longer. Oh sigh. I’m writing nonsense now. Let’s see how many errors I get. I won’t fix it. No matter how much I want. I’m gonna post this straight away.

Please do give some comments. Just say Hi. I just want someone to say something. Bye.

It is over (might be spoilers)

  • How long it takes to kill Azog and Bolg
  • How diamonds and gold won’t be a substitute for love
  • Good friends are hard to find
  • If a friend betrays you, it might only be because they want to save you from something
  • If tasks seems easy, it’s usually a trap
  • Alfrid is a coward just like his Master
  • Killing Smaug was both sad and satisfying
  • What true love is
  • Seeing Galadriel, Saruman and Elrond on screen brings a smile on your face
  • Thranduil is the sexiest character in Middle-Earth 😉 and there’s a lot of him

I did get a little teary eyed in certain scenes. All in all, it was a great movie. There were some scenes I expected to be there but wasn’t but still it was worth it. It’s gonna be even better the 2nd time around. I will go again I’m sure. Seeing characters die again and again is not much fun though. But seeing Thranduil is.

So now when both Lord of the rings and The Hobbit movies are over, what now? What to look forward now? Those are the questions. I guess it’s back to the drawing board.

17 Hours and counting

In 17 hours, I’ll be sitting in the movie theater, watching the last Hobbit movie. I’ve been waiting for this all year and it will all be worth it. I’m both excited and a little sad. It’s the last movie of the three and also because I know how it will end. I don’t know if I will cry. That’s something I don’t do. But you never know.

I did some Hobbit spotting today (a.k.a. street posters) and of course I didn’t have a camera with me to prove it. I spotted 2 with Gandalf on a bus stop and one with Tauriel. It’s no big deal really. I have no idea why I’m telling you this 😀 It’s “just a poster” anyway. Not the actors themselves. I’m just so excited. Last time I was this hyper about a movie was Lord of the rings. There will never be another one like those.
