What is a key, you ask

I was supposed to do something else today and not posting on this blog. But I’m lazy and I don’t bother. Actually, this is only a quote from a movie and not an actual blog post. The question is, what is a key really? I thought about this quote from Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man’s Chest. This scene happens at the beginning of the movie where Captain Jack Sparrow has a drawing of a key. I don’t know about you but I found this quite funny. I guess you have to have seen this movie or you wouldn’t know what I was talking about it.

Marty: It’s a key.
Jack Sparrow: No. Much more better. It is a drawing of a key. Gentlemen. What do keys do?
Pirate no. 2: Keys unlock things?
Mr. Gibbs: And whatever this key unlocks, inside there’s something valuable. So we’re setting out to find whatever this key unlocks.
Jack Sparrow: No. If we don’t have the key, we can’t open whatever we don’t have that it unlocks. So what purpose would be served in finding whatever need be unlocked, which we don’t have, without first having found the key what unlocks it?
Mr. Gibbs: So we’re going after this key.
Jack Sparrow: You’re not making any sense at all.

Why complicate things 😀 So there you have it.

I know you're there. Why do you linger in the shadows?
