In my world 
You are strong and independent. Being careful doesn’t make you any less than anyone else. If you are truly scared, then test out the waters or try something new with a friend who will make you more comfortable while doing it. Take a risk in life at least once in a while. I promise you, you won’t regret it. Count to 3 and just do it. After 3 seconds, you are probably just overthinking it. Followed! It’s easier said than done but you’re right about that. I have tried to take small risks.One of them has been trying to be more brave to talk to people I don’t know. As an introvert, that’s been quite difficult to do.
